Yorkshire’s quirky five piece Fishing 4 Compliments celebrate 15 years of music creation together with the release of their very first 12” Vinyl Record ‘Off The Isle Of Good Intentions’ pressed from recycled material and individually coloured. Specialising in uplifting, hook & harmony-laden indie-folk-pop centred around lead singer Eileen’s unique voice and emotive, relatable songs their new record combines their favourite tracks from both their prior album releases. The title of the record thus takes its name from an amalgamation of their 2020 debut album ‘Off The Isle Of Somewhere’ which saw them receive a nomination for best folk/acoustic act as part of the world-famous Radio Wigwam awards and their 2025 second album ‘Lost In Good Intentions’ which achieved a 4 star review in RnR Magazine alongside a mention as ‘Tip for 2026’ in the Best of 2025 section of the magazine. Over the years the band have been on a joyful journey of recording their songs with their producers The Dunwells and sharing their music with an array of audiences across the North of England and beyond. This lovely vinyl release marks a celebration of their 15th year together creating their distinctive sound.
