Sam Fender – People Watching

“Sam Fender is pleased to announce details of his highly anticipated third album, People Watching.
People Watching is released 21st February 2025 via Polydor Records. Sam produced his record alongside bandmates Dean Thompson and Joe Atkinson over two years, working firstly in London in 2023 with producer Markus Dravs, and then earlier this year in Los Angeles with The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel, a musician Sam has a long-standing admiration for. If Seventeen Going Under was Sam’s “coming of age” record, People Watching is his next step forward – colourful stories and observations of everyday characters living their everyday, but often extraordinary, lives. Sam Fender’s observations on life as he experiences them have already taken him to headlining Summer festivals (Reading & Leeds, Boardmasters), selling out stadiums, and becoming a bonafide household name. With the instant sell-out of his UK arena tour (140,000+ tickets), Sam takes another mighty leap forward into whatever comes next.”
Dexter Gordon – Our Man in Paris

Dexter Gordon’s 1963 album Our Man In Paris was his first dispatch from Europe and is also symbolically considered to be the last bebop album. The saxophonist assembled a quartet with bebop legends and fellow expats Bud Powell on piano, and Kenny Clarke on drums along with the French bassist Pierre Michelot to record this all-time classic at CBS Studios in Paris. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
