This Week’s Beers


We have some familiar names and some not so this week.

Rudgate Brewery – Battleaxe | 4.2% – A traditional best bitter, deep chestnut in colour. A bitter-sweet ale with complex flavours.

Wharfedale Brewery – Blonde | 3.9% – A popular local blonde brewed in Ilkley, this is a golden straw coloured session ale. With English malts and a blend of New Zealand and American hops creating a zesty citrus and grapefruit hit with a bitter finish.

Hanlons Brewery – Citra IPA | 4% – All the way from Hanlons Brewery in Devon, this session IPA packs a punch but remains refreshingly light. Citra dry-hopped bursting with floral aromas.

Wensleydale Brewery – Falconer | 3.9% – Light copper session bitter, with fruity malt flavours and subtle hop aromas.

Wensleydale Brewery – Golden Void | 3.8% – Another fabulous ale from these guys, a golden ale with complex flavours of green fruit and spice.

Thornbridge Brewery – Jaipur | 5.9% – The flagship beer of what some consider to be one of the first craft breweries. Packed with US hops creating a fantastic flavour combo of grapefruit, lemon and tropical fruits perfectly balanced by the use of English malt to keep it light and very drinkable.

Theakston – Best | 3.8% – Needs no introduction! A legendary Yorkshire Ale!!

Our next guest keg will be the fabulous Saltaire Zipwire, a 4.5% citrus pale.
