Kindred – Live
A high energy five-piece show. They will be performing all things rock with music from the likes of: AC/DC, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Queen, Poison, Nightwish, Mötley Crüe, and Ozzy.
Soul on Wednesday – Halifax Soul Crew
Five hours of soul with DJs Mark Summerscales and Adrian Moore, hosted by The Halifax Soul Crew, on the first Wednesday of every month.
Big Music Quiz Night
The Sound Bar’s Big Music Quiz – the best monthly music quiz featuring: general knowledge, intros, guess the year, album covers and lyrics. Plus a whole lot of fun!
Bring Guns – Live
A classic heavy rock and melodic metal band from Manchester. With a wide range of influences from Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden to Motörhead and Opeth – the music is punchy and melodic with powerful vocals, backed by a solid driving rhythm section, and topped by twin lead guitars.
The Intentions – Live
A five-piece covers band from Leeds, playing an eclectic mix of some of the finest pop, rock & roll and soul songs ever written.
Kathryn Longbottom – Live
A recording artist whose roots are firmly set in Yorkshire. Having developed her music from an emotionally innovative perspective, her combination of big, edgy melancholic vocals, gritty lyrics, rock chick roots and a touch of gothic folk, her songs all have a tale to tell.
Gumball – Live
A four piece band, featuring Mike & Mark from Spark, Stan and Phil. Not to be missed.
Metallicish – Live
Formed in Yorkshire in 2013, Metallicish emerged from a shared passion for the heavy riffs and thunderous energy of Metallica. What started as a group of friends jamming in rehearsal rooms quickly evolved into one of the UK’s most in-authentically authentic Metallica tribute acts. This is a ticketed event: tickets are £9.50 and are available from the bar and online via SeeTickets.
The 88s – Live
A three-piece high energy, classic rock covers band.
Open Mic Night (Hosted by Mike Burtoft)
The Sound Bar’s Open Mic Night – all performers are most welcome, but please contact Mike to ensure you get a slot. PA is provided, just bring your instrument or backing track, or just come to support your local live music venue.
The R.N.G. Band – Live
A highly polished and energetic five-piece band, playing an eclectic mix of mostly ’80s classics, with a few ’70s standards thrown in for you enjoyment. Definitely bring your dancin’ shoes.
The Soul Persuaders – Live
A four-piece Leeds based band, dedicated to bringing a slice of soul and funk to some well known and loved classics.
